V.S.T Tillers Tractors Limited has appointed Shuba Kumar as an Additional and Independent Director, with effect from July 27, 2026, for a five-year term, subject to shareholder approval. The decision was taken by the board following a recommendation from the Nomination, Compensation and Remuneration Committee in a circular resolution dated July 23, 2026.
Ms. Kumar brings a pedigree that spans engineering, management and global operations. She holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras, an MS from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University, and has built more than 28 years of leadership experience across automotive, aerospace and semiconductor sectors. She is currently Managing Director of Natesan Synchrocones Pvt. Ltd., where she has steered the establishment of a DSIR-recognized R&D centre, spearheaded expansion into aerospace and driven the formation of Kyowa Natesan Synchro Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an Indo-Japanese joint venture.
Her prior leadership roles include a tenure at Applied Materials in the United States, where she helped create more than USD 1 billion in new markets and fostered operational excellence through Six Sigma. She also serves as an Independent Director on the board of India Motor Parts & Accessories Limited (IMPAL).
With this appointment, V.S.T Tillers aims to enrich its board with cross-industry expertise spanning manufacturing, R&D and global operations as it navigates an increasingly tech-enabled, value-oriented agriculture machinery landscape. The appointment will be formalized subject to shareholder approval at the appropriate time.
