Signpost India Limited appoints Meghna Rajadhyaksha as Non-Executive Independent Director

Signpost India Limited is reshaping its board dynamics with the appointment of Meghna Rajadhyaksha as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective August 3, 2026. The board, at its meeting on the same day, approved her appointment as an Additional Director (Independent and Non-Executive) for a three-year term from August 3, 2026 to August 2, 2029, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM. In step with this governance move, the company also re-constituted its Audit Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee to accommodate Meghna as a member of both boards’ key oversight panels.

Meghna Rajadhyaksha brings a legal and dispute-resolution background to Signpost’s governance framework. She is currently a Consultant at Five Rivers Capital, where she leads legal analysis for litigation funding case selection. Her prior roles span senior positions at leading law firms, including partner-level work at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., with earlier stints at Khaitan & Co. and Clifford Chance LLP in London. She holds an LL.M. from Columbia Law School and a BA LLB (Hons.) from National Law School of India University, with admissions to practice in India, England & Wales, and New York. Her track record covers insolvency matters, arbitration, and complex litigation for a diverse range of clients and high-profile proceedings.

Signpost notes that Meghna’s appointment aligns with its commitment to robust governance and independent oversight as the company progresses. The arrangement designates her as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a fixed term, and she would participate in the board’s audit oversight and nomination/remuneration processes, alongside the existing independent directors. The move underscores Signpost’s emphasis on strengthening its leadership bench through seasoned governance professionals while awaiting the formal shareholder approval at the forthcoming AGM.
