IRM Energy Limited has announced the appointment of Brajesh Kumar Singh as Chief Operating Officer – Operations, a move the company frames as strengthening its senior-management depth as it scales its oil-and-gas and city gas distribution ambitions. The board, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, approved the appointment with effect from August 1, 2026. Brajesh Kumar Singh brings more than 32 years of experience in the oil & gas and CGD sectors. A mechanical engineer from NIT Durgapur, he has built a career around infrastructure development, project delivery, and operations, with a track record in navigating complex regulatory environments. Across multiple states, he has led the development of city gate stations, CNG networks, steel and MDPE pipelines, and household PNG connectivity, overseeing O&M and business development in equal measure.
Before joining IRM Energy, Singh held leadership roles at AGP City Gas, THINK Gas, Gujarat Gas, and HPCL, where he was credited with driving operational excellence and growth, building high-performing teams, and steering large-scale infrastructure programs. Colleagues describe him as a transformational leader with strengths in strategic planning, project management, contract management, asset integrity, and government liaison—qualities IRM Energy is keen to leverage as it expands its CGD footprint.
