IFGL Refractories Sees Leadership Transition as VP – Projects Subbaraman Swaminathan Resigns

IFGL Refractories Limited has announced that Subbaraman Swaminathan, the company’s Vice President – Projects and Head of Wankaner Operations, has tendered his resignation due to personal reasons. The resignation will take effect at the close of business on April 14, 2026. In his correspondence, Swaminathan stated that he would provide full cooperation to hand over his responsibilities smoothly and extended his thanks to IFGL Management for the opportunity.

The departure signals a leadership transition within IFGL’s project portfolio and its Wankaner operations. While the company has not disclosed a replacement timeline, the move underscores the ongoing need for continuity in project delivery and operations management as leadership roles evolve.

As IFGL navigates this transition, industry observers will be watching how the company selects and places a successor to oversee its project functions and the Wankaner facility. Resignations at this level, while often anticipated in dynamic manufacturing businesses, can steer the cadence of ongoing projects and strategic initiatives in the near term.
