Arvind Sharma has been named Chief Information Security Officer, while Rahul Bhutiani takes on the role of Chief – Strategic Customer Acquisition. Arvind Sharma, who has been an integral part of the Adani Cybersecurity team since joining the Group in 2021, brings more than two decades of experience in governance, risk and compliance, privacy, and cyber assurance. In his new role, he will lead the cybersecurity strategy and governance for AESL and its affiliate AEML, overseeing risk management, security operations, regulatory compliance, and cyber resilience programs across multiple business environments. His prior work with the Group underscores a track record of elevating cyber governance and risk posture during a period of rapid growth and integration.
Rahul Bhutiani, a five-year veteran of the Adani group, steps into Chief – Strategic Customer Acquisition, a function aligned with expanding AESL’s commercial footprint. With a background spanning 32 years in sales and marketing, Bhutiani has led marketing for solar and wind businesses across domestic and international markets, navigating regulatory, tariff, and competitive landscapes. In his new assignment, he will drive the commercialization of merchant power and demand aggregation across data centers, drawing on his experience in market creation and global business development to fuel AESL’s growth trajectory.
Together, the moves underscore AESL’s intent to fuse robust cyber governance with aggressive growth initiatives, signaling a leadership approach that prioritizes secure digital infrastructure as a foundation for strategic market expansion and operational scale.
