Pitti Engineering Limited announced a strategic internal reshuffle in its leadership, with the board approving redesignations and a promotion across its senior management. In a meeting held on 22 October 2026, the company formalized a realignment of its Motor & Generator Components leadership and expanded the Deputy Chief Operating Officer role to strengthen executive oversight across the division.
Sandip Agarwala, previously COO – Motor & Generator Components Business, will step into the role of Deputy Chief Executive Officer. The 50-year-old executive, who joined Pitti in 2013, has steered operations, manufacturing efficiency, customer relationships, and business development. In his new capacity, Agarwala will support the overall leadership and strategic direction of the company, leveraging his deep operational expertise to drive sustainable growth and value creation.
Chaitra Sundaresh, who has served as Deputy Chief Operating Officer since May 2024, has been redesignated as Chief Operating Officer – Motor & Generator Components Business. A commerce graduate with more than two decades of experience in the electrical laminations and manufacturing industry, Sundaresh brings deep manufacturing operations know-how and a track record of strengthening capabilities, driving operational excellence, and enabling growth initiatives within the segment.
Avinash Arun Patil, aged 44, has been promoted from President – Maharashtra Operations to Deputy Chief Operating Officer. With 24 years of experience in operations management, strategic sourcing, supply chain, and cost transformation, Patil brings a proven leadership background from across industrial and motor manufacturing sectors. He previously held senior roles at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited and, since May 2024, has overseen Maharashtra operations. He will join the company’s Senior Management Personnel in his new role, broadening the organization’s operational leadership as Pitti accelerates its growth agenda.
