Talbros Automotive Components Limited has announced the appointment of Rahul Bhutoria as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director, effective 16 September 2026, for a five-year term subject to the forthcoming AGM approvals. The move signals the company’s intent to bolster governance and strategic oversight with an experienced investor-turned-director on the board.
Bhutoria brings more than 17 years of experience across investment banking, private equity and asset management. He is the co-founder and director of Valtrust, an asset management firm, and has worked closely with business families on investment strategy, portfolio management, capital allocation and growth initiatives. His background spans public and private markets in India and internationally, including leadership stints and board exposure in diverse sectors such as industrials, healthcare, financial services, logistics, energy and media. He has also held roles in notable deals and firms, and has international board experience including involvement with a UK-based healthcare company.
He is also recognized as a founder and sponsor of Ashoka University and holds a BSc in Industrial Management from Purdue University and an MBA from INSEAD. Bhutoria is not related to any director at Talbros and is considered independent under applicable norms. The appointment aligns with Talbros’ push to reinforce governance with experienced governance and strategic oversight as it pursues long-term growth across its automotive components portfolio.
