Shaily Engineering Plastics Limited has announced the re-appointment of Amit Mahendra Sanghvi as Managing Director for a five-year term, effective from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2031, subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming 46th Annual General Meeting. The decision underscores the board’s preference for continuity at the top as the company advances its growth agenda in engineered plastics.
Amit Mahendra Sanghvi, 43, is an electrical engineer by training from the University of Ottawa and holds an M.Sc. in Supply Chain and Manufacturing from Pennsylvania State University. His career spans roles with Arete Inc. (USA) as a business process consultant for Pepsi and Coke, and positions at PAS Romania, Pepsi Bottling Group, and Coca-Cola Bottling in Indonesia. At Shaily, he started as General Manager – Projects, was elevated to Whole-Time Director, and has served as Managing Director since May 16, 2015, driving the company’s leadership in its sector.
The board also fixed September 11, 2026 as the record date for determining members entitled to receive the final dividend for FY 2025-26, aligning governance with its financial calendar.
As Shaily pushes ahead with its strategic priorities, the re-appointment positions Sanghvi to steward the company through the next phase of growth, with shareholders set to weigh in at the AGM.
