Viji Finance Limited said farewell to Sejal Riddhesh Shah, who has resigned from the board as an additional director with effect from the close of business on 14 July 2026. The company cited increased personal commitments that would prevent her from devoting the time and attention required to oversee the company’s affairs.
Shah’s resignation letter also notes there are no other material reasons for stepping down beyond the personal commitments cited. The board met on the same day, with proceedings running from 4:00 pm to 6:35 pm, to record the change in the company’s leadership.
Chairman and Managing Director Vijay Kothari acknowledged Shah’s contribution and thanked her for her service, signaling a continuing focus on governance as the company navigates board changes.
Viji Finance noted that the change would be reflected in its public communications and governance updates as it considers any subsequent steps to fill the vacancy.
