SG Mart Limited is charting a new leadership trajectory as it taps Sanjay Gupta to helm the company as Chairman & Managing Director, effective July 20, 2026, for a five-year term subject to member approval. The board also positioned Rohan Gupta as Whole-time Director, Chakram Kumar Singh as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Non-Independent), and Shruti Shrivastava as an Additional Director (Non-Executive Independent), signaling a broad-based push to strengthen governance and operations at the next growth phase. The moves reflect a blend of seasoned industry leadership and governance-focused appointments aligned with SG Mart’s existing strategic footprint in building materials and related sectors.
In a concurrent strategic step, the board considered and approved the acquisition of Tanwar Cargo Solutions Private Limited (TCSPL) for ₹85 crore, aiming to convert the target into a wholly-owned subsidiary by December 31, 2026. TCSPL owns land assets in Haryana and is positioned to underpin SG Mart’s future manufacturing, warehousing and logistics expansion. The deal illustrates SG Mart’s intent to secure strategic infrastructure to support its integrated supply chain and scale up its footprint across the infrastructure and building materials value chain.
The company also disclosed unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, prepared under Ind AS 34 and reviewed by its statutory auditors, underscoring a broader governance push as it unfolds its growth agenda. With Gupta at the helm and a fresh slate of directors joining the board, SG Mart is signaling a deliberate shift from sustaining operations to accelerating expansion and value creation for shareholders.
