In the company’s 385th meeting held on 9 July 2026, the Board approved the appointment of T. R. Raghunandan as an Independent Director for a five-year term from 9 July 2026 to 8 July 2031, with the appointment subject to shareholders’ approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting. Raghunandan will continue to serve as Chairman of the Company and the Board, reinforcing the leadership cadence at the top of the organization. Separately, the Board approved Pankajam Sridevi as an Additional Director designated as an Independent Director for a five-year tenure from 10 July 2026 to 9 July 2031, also subject to shareholders’ approval at the AGM.
The company notes that both appointments come without any debarment from holding director roles by SEBI or other authorities. T. R. Raghunandan is a former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer with more than two-and-a-half decades in high-level public governance, including roles in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj and stints at the national level. His background as a policy-maker and trusted advisor to multiple government bodies and international development agencies positions him to contribute to the company’s strategic oversight and governance frameworks.
Pankajam Sridevi is described as a transformational leader with extensive experience in manufacturing, technology and banking. Her recent role as Managing Director of Commonwealth Bank of Australia (India) and prior positions with ANZ Banking Services highlight a track record of governance, risk management and large-team leadership across multiple jurisdictions. Her appointment adds a seasoned perspective on governance, audit, and digital transformation to Sandur’s board.
