A 1992 batch officer of the Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS), Agarwal currently serves as the Principal Executive Director, Traffic Transportation, Movement (PED/TT/M) in the Railway Board, where he leads freight policy formulation and oversees freight movement planning and execution across the rail network. His three-plus decades in the service have seen him steer operations and strategy across major divisions and rail zones, underscoring a deep mandate in moving goods efficiently through India’s rail corridors.
