Mufin Green Finance strengthens strategy and governance with two leadership appointments

Mufin Green Finance Limited has announced a leadership refresh, naming Sumit Garg as Head of Strategy, designated as Senior Management Personnel, and Prakash L. Pogaku as Chief Compliance Officer, both effective September 2, 2026. The appointments position the NBFC for accelerated execution of its growth playbook while reinforcing governance as it scales.

Prakash L. Pogaku arrives with more than 18 years in banking, NBFCs, and financial services, focusing on regulatory compliance, RBI inspections, AML/KYC, policy design, and risk monitoring. The new CCO previously led or shaped compliance programs at HDB Financial Services, IndoStar Capital Finance Limited, and Aditya Birla Finance Limited, and holds an MBA in Financial Management along with AML/KYC and Cyber Security certifications.

Sumit Garg brings a portfolio-builder’s track record across NBFC lending, startup finance, fundraising, and advisory services. He has steered NBFC lending portfolios at AU Finance Bank – including around ₹4,000 crore in lending – and led startup financing across the country, with earlier experience at Resurgent India Limited and roles in financial research with Copal Partners India (Moody’s). He holds a B.Tech in Electronics & Communications and an MBA.

Taken together, the moves signal Mufin Green Finance’s intent to sharpen strategy and fortify risk governance as it charts growth in a competitive lending landscape. With Pogaku guiding compliance discipline and Garg shaping strategic initiatives, the company sits at a crossroads where governance and growth must move in lockstep.
