MOIL Limited has unveiled a leadership reshuffle in its mechanical wing, signaling a sharpening of focus on engineering discipline and operational stability. Effective 6 October 2026, Rajiv Atrey is being designated as Head of Department (Mechanical) after serving as General Manager (Mechanical), marking a formal elevation within MOIL’s frontline engineering leadership.
Alongside, Atul Sharma, currently General Manager (Mechanical), is part of a broader change in the HoD Mechanical post as MOIL reorganizes the department’s top helm. The move underscores MOIL’s intent to consolidate expertise in its core mechanical functions at a time when the company seeks to push efficiency and reliability in its ore production and processing operations.
Together, the moves reflect a leadership cadence that MOIL aims to sustain—promoting consistency in mechanical operations while ensuring continuity of know-how across the department. As MOIL continues its journey as a government enterprise focused on mineral resources, the new HoD mechanical leadership is expected to steer engineering priorities with hands-on experience and a long view for the department’s future.
