Manappuram Finance Limited has signaled continuity in its risk governance, as the tenure of the current Chief Risk Officer comes to a close this month and an internal leadership transition is set in motion. Madhu Mohan A.M.’s term as Chief Risk Officer will conclude on July 17, 2026, marking a planned leadership shift at the top of the risk function.
To ensure a smooth handover and ongoing risk oversight, the company has entrusted Jinu Chandrasekhar, who currently serves as Vice President and Deputy Chief Risk Officer (Non-Senior Management Personnel), with the additional responsibility of Interim Chief Risk Officer effective July 18, 2026. The arrangement is described as a transitional period until a regular CRO is appointed and assumes charge, underscoring the lender’s emphasis on governance and risk management during a pivotal phase of its growth trajectory.
Importantly, the company notes that Mr. Chandrasekhar will continue to be classified as a Non-Senior Management Personnel during the interim period. This internal elevation reflects Manappuram Finance’s emphasis on maintaining stability within its risk function as it navigates strategic objectives and market dynamics.
