Kwality Wall’s (India) Limited signaled a new chapter for its ice-cream business, naming Tahir Toloy Tanridagli as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for a three-year term starting 1 November 2026, subject to shareholder and statutory approvals. The appointment, approved by the board on 30 October 2026, places a seasoned executive who already sits on KWIL’s board at the helm of the company, with a mandate to drive operational performance and growth as the business charts its next phase after the demerger from Hindustan Unilever Limited. Tanridagli brings more than two decades in the snacking and FMCG space, with leadership stints at Kraft Foods–Mondelez and Unilever and recent senior responsibility as Unilever Ice Cream General Manager for a broad regional portfolio.
In a simultaneous leadership realignment, Vivek Sarbhai will cease to be Head – Supply Chain, India and Senior Management Personnel of the company due to a designation change within KWIL. Ansu Archana will assume the role of Head – Supply Chain, India and Senior Management Personnel from 1 November 2026. Archana is described as a procurement and supply chain leader with over 15 years of multinational experience, including director-level roles within Unilever’s Supply Chain organization across South Asia and global markets. Her background spans strategic sourcing, operations, and regional leadership, and she currently oversees a procurement portfolio exceeding €2 billion across multiple geographies.
Taken together, the moves position Kwality Wall’s India to deepen execution, align with Magnum Ice Cream Company’s broader group strategy, and sustain growth as the largest listed pure-play ice cream business in India. The leadership changes come amid a backdrop of Magnum’s HoldCo structure and KWIL’s strategic evolution since its independent listing, with shareholder approvals still on the horizon before these transitions are fully enacted.
