Widely recognized for administrative acumen and strategic health governance, she has also led healthcare education and policy initiatives, including her tenure as Dean and Deputy Commandant of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and her involvement with PM-STIAC, the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology and Innovation Advisory Council.
Her career also features notable accolades and pioneering milestones—she became the third woman in the Indian Armed Forces to attain a Three-star rank, and she has been honored with several commendations for service.
