KFin Technologies elevates Srinivas Yadav Karri to Group Chief Information Security Officer

KFin Technologies is elevating its cybersecurity leadership from within, appointing Srinivas Yadav Karri as Group Chief Information Security Officer (Group CISO) with effect from October 16, 2026. The move centralizes oversight of cybersecurity and information security risks across the KFin group, signaling a sharpened focus on cyber risk management, resilience, and incident response as the company scales its digital offerings across entities.

In his expanded remit, Karri will provide strategic leadership and broad-based oversight of cybersecurity and information security matters for the group. He may discharge the responsibilities of an effective CISO for relevant group entities, wherever required and subject to applicable approvals, with a view to strengthening monitoring, governance, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Karri currently serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Security Officer at KFin Technologies, bringing more than 22 years of experience in information security, cyber risk management, technology governance, compliance, and digital transformation. His credentials include C|CISO, CISA, CCSK, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect, along with two Master’s degrees in Information Systems and Cyber Forensics. Over his tenure, he has led initiatives to bolster cybersecurity governance, cyber resilience, cloud security controls, and enterprise risk management, with published work on AI-driven cybersecurity.

This internal elevation comes at a time when financial-technology firms are accelerating digital transformation and facing increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. By elevating a long-tenured leader from within, KFin signals continuity and confidence in its security agenda as it charts its next phase of growth.
