IndusInd Bank reshuffles senior leadership, elevating two executives to Executive Director – Designate

IndusInd Bank has unveiled a refreshed portfolio of its senior leadership, signaling a measured push to sharpen execution across its core functions. Among the highlights is the elevation of two executives to executive leadership track: Ganesh Sankaran and Jagdeep Mallareddy, who are designated as Executive Directors – Designate. Alongside these appointments, the bank has published an updated list of Senior Management Personnel (SMP) that spans human resources, governance, technology, risk, and operations, underscoring a broad-based commitment to aligning leadership with the bank’s strategic priorities.

The SMP roster reads like a cross-section of the institution’s operational nerve centers: Amitabh Kumar Singh as Chief Human Resources Officer; Anand Kumar Das as Company Secretary & Key Managerial Personnel; Anand Vardhan as General Counsel; Anil Marco Rao as Chief Administrative Officer; Balaji Narayanamurthy as Chief Data Officer; Judy Heredia as Chief Credit Officer; Saurav Saha as Chief Risk Officer; Sunil Singh as Chief Compliance Officer; Ravi Pangal as Chief Information Officer; Vasudeva Konda as Head – Global Markets; and Viral Rajnikant Damania as Chief Financial Officer. Pragati S Gondhalekar anchors Internal Audit as Head, while Manikantan Iyer sits as Chief of Internal Vigilance. The bank’s leadership slate also includes a mix of senior risk, IT, and governance roles that are poised to support IndusInd’s execution discipline.

In tandem with the new appointments, IndusInd also confirmed several changes in reporting and personnel status. Indrajit Yadav, Samir Dewan, Shruti Kumar, and Sriram A G cease to be SMP due to shifts in reporting or profile, while Soumitra Sen retires on 30 April 2026. Taken together, the moves reflect a deliberate refresh of the bank’s senior team, aimed at reinforcing governance, risk oversight, digital capabilities, and people-centric leadership as it pursues its growth and resilience agenda.
