Hexaware Technologies is reshuffling its leadership slate as it accelerates its AI-driven growth agenda. The board has approved the appointment of two Carlyle-backed financiers to Hexaware’s governance fold: Arjun Shah and Gregory Michael Zeluck will join as Additional Directors, Non-Executive Non-Independent, effective October 29, 2026. Shah serves as a Managing Director at Carlyle, focusing on buyout and growth equity investments in enterprise software and tech-enabled services, while Zeluck is a Partner and Co-Head of Asia Buyout at Carlyle. Their arrival signals a tilt toward venture-backed scale and strategic oversight from a global private equity vantage point.
Hexaware also announced the departure of several directors as part of the broader leadership realignment. Neeraj Bharadwaj, a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, tendered his resignation effective October 28, 2026, stepping away from roles on key committees. Julius Genachowski, another Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, similarly resigned effective the same date due to other commitments. In the executive suite, Vivek Jetley has been appointed CEO of the company with effect from October 28, 2026, while R. Srikrishna ceases to be CEO and Executive Director, marking a pivotal transition at the top of Hexaware’s ladder.
The governance refresh extends to committee structure, with a re-constitution of the Stakeholders Relationship Committee, Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, and Environmental, Social and Governance Committee to align with the new board composition. Beyond personnel changes, Hexaware also advanced a slate of structural moves, including a slump sale involving Tech SMC Square India Private Limited and the merger of two step-down subsidiaries into their respective parents, underscoring a broader rationalization of the group’s portfolio as it pursues scale and efficiency. Together, the leadership shift and strategic realignments place Hexaware at an inflection point, positioning the company to leverage AI capabilities and new growth avenues under a refreshed governance framework.
