FACT appoints Sajo KF as Director (Technical) to steer its engineering-led strategy

In a notable leadership shift at Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Limited, the board has appointed Sajo KF as Director (Technical), effective July 27, 2026. The appointment comes through a government order issued by the Department of Fertilizers, under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, and will extend from the date of his assumption of charge until his superannuation on May 31, 2028, or until further orders. The move places a seasoned technical leader at the helm of FACT’s strategic and operational engineering agenda, reinforcing governance with strong technical oversight.

Sajo KF is a chemical engineer by training, holding an M.Tech in Project Engineering and an MBA in Marketing. He brings more than 35 years of experience with FACT, most recently serving as Chief General Manager – FEDO & FEW, where he led key engineering, consultancy, and project initiatives. Renowned as a process engineer, he has steered process interventions across multiple plant sections, delivering improvements in productivity, efficiency, and reliability.

The appointment signals FACT’s intent to bolster its technical leadership as it pursues modernization and optimization across its operations.
