Clean Science appoints Krishnakumar Saboo as Additional Director, set to be Whole-time Director

In a move that aligns governance with hands-on operational leadership, Clean Science and Technology Limited disclosed that its Board has co-opted Krishnakumar Satyanarain Saboo as an Additional Director, a seat he will hold until the 23rd Annual General Meeting. The development signals the company’s intent to weave continuity at the top with a broader strategic oversight touchpoint, as Saboo steps into a role that could shape the next phase of its boardroom dynamics.

Beyond the co-option, the Board has recommended Saboo’s appointment as a Whole-time Director for a five-year term, effective from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2031, subject to the shareholders’ approval at the 23rd AGM. He has also been designated as Factory Occupier from 1 August 2026. Saboo currently serves as Group President (Operations) and is a longtime senior member of Clean Science’s leadership, responsible for new projects, engineering procurement, production, maintenance, safety, and other core operational functions. He has been with the company for over 11 years, bringing a deep operational pedigree to the helm.

The move comes on the back of recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, underscoring a deliberate effort to bolster executive leadership as the company pursues growth initiatives, including international expansion through Clean Fino-Chem Limited’s Netherlands venture. The arrangement positions Saboo to steer not only day-to-day operations but also the strategic execution that can drive scale as the company strengthens its footprint in specialty chemicals and related sectors.
