Ceigall India Limited has elevated Chandan Singh to the role of Additional Director and Whole Time Director, with the appointment taking effect from November 5, 2026 for a three-year term subject to the approval of shareholders. The move signals a focused push to strengthen executive leadership and governance as the company advances its growth agenda, including capital-raising plans and strategic project execution across its infrastructure portfolio.
Chandan Singh, 42, brings more than 17 years of experience in the power and infrastructure sectors. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University and has a track record in general management, project management, and EPC tendering. After a long stint with Reliance Infrastructure Limited, he joined the Ceigall Group in 2024 and has since served in various capacities, most recently as a Whole Time Director of C & C Constructions Limited. He sits on the boards of several Ceigall group entities, underscoring his central role within the group’s expansion initiatives.
Industry watchers note that Singh’s on-the-ground strength in mega-project delivery could help Ceigall accelerate execution across its EPC and annuity projects, especially as the company explores fund-raising up to Rs. 1000 crores and potential new partnerships. The board’s decision to appoint him is part of broader governance enhancements designed to bolster the company’s strategic trajectory, with a postal-ballot process anticipated to secure shareholder consent. As Ceigall marches forward, Singh’s mandate will be closely watched for how it translates into project delivery, capital deployment, and long-term value creation for investors.
