Britannia Industries Limited has named Siddharth Parakh as Head – Strategy & Business Development, with effect from 3 August 2026, following a recommendation by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and a circular resolution passed by the board on 2 August 2026. The move signals Britannia’s intent to sharpen its growth playbook and strengthen its strategic execution across markets and categories.
Parakh brings over 13 years of diverse experience spanning corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, investments and capital allocation. Most recently, he was part of the Group CFO & Group Strategy Office at Tata Sons, where he worked on strategic initiatives, investments and cross-Tata Group M&A over the past four-and-a-half years. Prior to Tata, he served as Assistant Vice President in the investment banking team at Edelweiss (Nuvama), advising Indian and global clients on M&A, corporate finance and fund-raising across sectors including consumer, information technology and healthcare. His career also includes stints at MAPE Advisory Group, Grant Thornton and PwC.
Educationally, Parakh is a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, with a PGDM from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research (Mumbai). He has also completed the Advanced International Finance Program from Cornell University, New York. Recognized for his leadership potential, he was honoured with the Economic Times Young Leader Award for India’s emerging business leaders.
