Bhartiya International sees leadership shake as Business Head for Outerwear resigns

Bhartiya International Limited has confirmed a leadership change in its top-tier management, revealing the resignation of N Balasubramanian from the position of Business Head – Outerwear, effective 9 October 2026. The move marks a notable shift in the leadership of the company’s Outerwear division, a core segment for the group’s apparel business.

Balasubramanian is described as a seasoned professional with more than three decades in the apparel industry, bringing deep expertise in international marketing, merchandising, and business development. Across his career, he built and led high-performing marketing teams across India, Bangladesh, and the United States, and he oversaw strategic partnerships with global retail names including PVH, Target (USA & Australia), American Eagle, Marks & Spencer, Columbia Sportswear, and Primark. He has also held senior leadership roles with export houses such as Shahi, LT Karle, and Arvind, where he served as Business Head & Vice President.

The departure of a senior executive with such a track record underscores the ongoing leadership evolution within Bhartiya International’s growth engine. While details about successor plans were not disclosed, the market will be watching how the Outerwear unit navigates its next phase and what leadership priorities emerge to sustain momentum in a competitive global apparel landscape. As Bhartiya International continues to steer its strategic ambitions, the reshuffle highlights the company’s ongoing emphasis on strengthening its leadership bench to drive expansion and partnerships across key markets.
