Arihant Superstructures Limited has taken a decisive step to strengthen its board by appointing Raghuveer Singh Rajpurohit as an Additional Director, categorized as Non-Executive and Independent. The move, approved by the board for a five-year term commencing July 21, 2026, will run through July 20, 2031 and he will not be subject to retirement by rotation during that period, subject to the approval of the company’s members.
Rajpurohit brings a rich blend of academic and industry experience, spanning over 27 years. He has served as principal at OKIMT Kota and SCMIRT Pune, and as a professor at IMS Noida. In addition to his academic leadership roles, he led merger-related proceedings as Chairman of Sangam India Limited appointed by the Rajasthan High Court in 2006. His multifaceted background has also seen him recognized beyond the corporate world, including an independent national role as a chess arbiter bestowed by the All India Chess Federation in 1998.
Industry observers view this appointment as a move to bolster governance and broaden the board’s perspective as Arihant navigates its growth trajectory in the housing and real estate space. With Rajpurohit not related to any existing director and without debarment from holding office, the board gains an independent voice that can contribute to strategic oversight and long-term value creation. The company’s leadership signals an ongoing emphasis on strengthening governance and bringing diverse leadership insights to guide its expansion plans.
