Allcargo Logistics strengthens board with two independent directors and governance reshuffle

Allcargo Logistics Limited is strengthening its board with the appointment of Russell Parera as an Independent Director for a three-year term, commencing November 3, 2026 and ending November 2, 2029, subject to the approval of shareholders. The decision, taken on the board’s recommendation of the Governance & Nomination and Remuneration Committee, signals a sharpening of governance and risk oversight as the logistics group readies itself for growth across its global footprint. Parera, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a commerce graduate, brings four decades of professional services leadership across India, the UK, and the UAE, including leadership roles at Price Waterhouse and KPMG in India, to Allcargo’s boardroom table.

Concurrent with the new appointment, Hetal Gandhi was re-appointed as an Independent Director for a second three-year term, from February 8, 2027 to February 7, 2030, subject to member approval. Gandhi’s wide-ranging background in financial services, private equity, infrastructure financing and corporate governance informs his contributions to strategy and oversight, and he has served on the boards of several listed and private companies, bringing governance depth to the ensemble.

Beyond individual appointments, Allcargo’s board reconstituted its committees to align with governance norms and best practices. The revised structure features the Risk Management, Finance, Strategy and Legal Committee (RMFSLC) with Dinesh Kumar Lal as Chair and Sivaraman Narayanaswami as a member, while Vijay Nehra serves as an Executive Director on that committee. In the Stakeholders Relationship Committee (SRC), Radha Ahluwalia chairs, with Dinesh Kumar Lal as a member and Vijay Nehra also listed as a member, reinforcing the board’s focus on governance, stakeholder engagement and accountability.

Additionally, the board approved Allcargo Logistics Limited – Employee Stock Option Scheme 2026, signaling an intent to couple incentive design with long-term value creation for the group’s employees and associates.
