GRP Limited on Thursday confirmed the resignation of Jyoti Sancheti from the role of Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, effective at the close of business on 7 April 2026. The move, cited as stemming from personal reasons and pursuit of outside opportunities, was acknowledged by the company and Sancheti will be relieved of duties at the end of the day.
As Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, Sancheti occupied a crucial KMP post, overseeing governance, secretarial practices and insider-trading compliance. With her exit, GRP said it would appoint a new Company Secretary within the regulatory time frame and will inform stakeholders as the process advances.
The transition highlights the ongoing rhythm of leadership changes that mid-market firms sometimes navigate, testing continuity as the outfit lines up a successor who can maintain compliance discipline and strong corporate governance standards. In the days ahead, GRP’s leadership will be focused on a smooth handover to minimize disruption while the new appointee comes on board.
