The Anup Engineering Limited has announced a leadership reshuffle in its finance ranks, with CFO Nilesh Hirapara resigning to take on a larger role within the Group, effective immediately on 6 November 2026. In a move that signals continuity in governance, the Board has appointed Vishal Begwani as Chief Financial Officer, effective from 6 November 2026, marking a deliberate transition in the company’s financial leadership.
Vishal Begwani brings more than two decades of finance and corporate-management experience across engineering and manufacturing, bolstered by professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and CS Inter, and an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad where he completed the Management Education Programme. He previously served as Chief Financial Officer of EIMCO Elecon (India) Limited and spent over 15 years with the Larsen & Toubro Group in various finance and commercial leadership roles. Throughout his career in listed companies, Begwani has sharpened expertise in financial strategy, governance, reporting, treasury, working capital, taxation, investor relations, and internal controls.
The transition is described as part of the Group’s broader succession-planning initiatives aimed at nurturing internal talent and strengthening leadership capabilities to support long-term growth. Begwani’s appointment follows recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee, underscoring a collaborative approach to fortifying the company’s financial leadership while Hirapara moves into a new role within the Group.
This leadership shift at The Anup Engineering Limited reflects a broader emphasis on continuity and governance as the company positions itself for future growth. With Begwani at the CFO helm, the organization signals a focused path for financial strategy, capital management, and stakeholder communications during a pivotal phase of expansion.
