Kaya Limited appoints Shuchi Pandya as Independent Director to bolster board governance

Kaya Limited has appointed Shuchi Pandya as an Additional Director, designated as a Non-Executive Independent Director, for a five-year term beginning November 6, 2026 and ending November 5, 2031, subject to shareholder approval. The appointment was approved by the Board on November 6, 2026, following a recommendation from Kaya’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Shuchi Pandya is a business leader with over 19 years of operational and entrepreneurial experience in the fashion and lifestyle sectors. She founded Pipa.Bella, a direct-to-consumer jewellery brand, in 2013, which was acquired by Nykaa in 2021. Thereafter, she was part of the senior leadership team at Nykaa Fashion, where she led profit and loss management and brand strategy for private labels across western wear, Indian wear and accessories. She is currently associated with Fireside Ventures as a Principal, a venture capital firm focused on investing in consumer brands.

Her appointment brings a consumer-brand and D2C perspective to Kaya’s board, complementing its governance with hands-on experience in building and scaling consumer-focused businesses. The board appointment positions Kaya to leverage Pandya’s mix of entrepreneurship, brand strategy and retail experience as it pursues growth and strategic initiatives across its portfolio of consumer offerings.

As an Additional Director, Pandya will hold the role for the initial five-year term, not liable to retire by rotation, subject to shareholder approval. Her inclusion underscores Kaya’s focus on strengthening board oversight with governance and strategic acumen drawn from consumer brands and venture creation.
