The move marks an internal elevation that places Singh at the helm of the company’s Commercial and Operations portfolio, signaling a continued focus on strengthening CONCOR’s core logistics engine.

Rama Kant Singh comes to the executive role as an IRTS officer with a broad remit across Operating, Commercial, Safety and Vigilance in Railway service at multiple levels—from Division and Zonal Headquarters to the Railway Board. His career also spans assignments in the ministries of Food, Heavy Industries and Coal. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Technology, underscoring a technical and policy-informed perspective that CONCOR can lean on as it navigates complex multimodal supply chains.

The elevation reflects CONCOR’s emphasis on continuity in leadership within its Commercial and Operations function, a cornerstone for advancing the company’s growth and efficiency in a dynamic logistics landscape. By drawing on Singh’s cross-functional railway experience and exposure to multiple government departments, the organization is signaling a strategic readiness to align operations with broader national logistics objectives. As CONCOR continues to scale its multimodal footprint, this internal move underscores a deliberate, leadership-driven approach to sustaining performance and governance within the business.
