Goodluck India Limited has tapped a veteran financial executive to steer its finances, naming Ashok Kumar Vashisht as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective September 5, 2026. The appointment arrives as the board, in a brief meeting, also signaled a broader strategic push by approving an alteration to the company’s Memorandum of Association to widen its service capabilities beyond its current scope.
Vashisht brings more than 28 years of experience across global and Indian corporations. He is a Chartered Management Accountant, a Fellow Member of CIMA UK (CGMA), an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and a Fellow Member of CPA Australia. His career spans roles at GlaxoSmithKline, EPL Ltd., Reliance Industries Ltd., SMA Solar, and Tubacex Group, with deep proficiency in Finance Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Reporting, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Strategic Cost Management, Project Management, statutory and internal audits, governance, and risk management.
With the company moving to add consultancy, advisory, operational and technical services across sectors under the MOA changes, the CFO’s mandate will be pivotal in translating growth ambitions into disciplined financial planning, risk controls, and value creation. Vashisht’s blended experience in multinational and Indian business environments could help Goodluck navigate capital allocation, financing, and cross-border opportunities as it expands its footprint.
Market observers will watch how the new leadership steers execution and how the MOA shift aligns with Goodluck’s evolving strategy, particularly in aligning financial discipline with a broadened service-oriented growth agenda.
