Varun Beverages names CHRO and Chief Manufacturing Officer to bolster people and production leadership

Varun Beverages Limited unveiled a leadership refresh on July 20, 2026, naming two senior management appointments: Sarabjeet Singh Gujral as Chief Human Resources Officer and Srinivasan Sourirajan as Chief Manufacturing Officer. The company’s board approved the appointments via a circular resolution, signaling a deliberate push to strengthen people leadership and manufacturing operations as it continues on its growth path.

Sarabjeet Singh Gujral is described as a seasoned HR leader with over 19 years of experience across agrifoods, FMCG and textiles. His most recent role was with DCM Shriram, where he served as Head of HR for Shriram Farm Solutions (a unit of DCM Shriram). Earlier, he spent 11 years with Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages in various roles, and before joining HCCB he spent over three and a half years with the Trident Group. He holds a Master’s in Human Resources & Corporate Governance from IMT Ghaziabad and a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University.

Srinivasan Sourirajan brings more than three decades of experience in the FMCG and food sectors. His last assignment was with Pernod Ricard India, where he was VP of Manufacturing and Engineering. Prior to Pernod Ricard, he spent 20 years with Perfetti Van Melle across Italy and India in different capacities, after beginning his career with Good Year India Limited. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from IIT Delhi and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Bharathidasan University, Trichy.

The appointments underscore Varun Beverages’ emphasis on strengthening core leadership in both people management and operations as the company navigates its growth trajectory. With Gujral steering human capital and Sourirajan driving manufacturing excellence, the leadership duo is positioned to shape the company’s execution strategy across its expanding footprint.
