Viji Finance appoints Aryaman Kothari as Executive Director while reappointing Sakshi Chourasiya as Independent Director

Viji Finance Limited is reshaping its leadership slate with a blend of fresh executive energy and seasoned governance. The Board has approved the appointment of Aryaman Kothari as an Additional Director and Whole-Time Director for a three-year term, effective 14 July 2026. The move, driven by the Audit Committee and Nomination & Remuneration Committee, positions the 25-year-old executive within the promoter group, as he is the son of Vijay Kothari, the Chairman and Managing Director. While the new role spans important operational responsibilities, the appointment is subject to the shareholders’ approval at the upcoming annual general meeting. Notably, Kothari already lists directorships at ARYKO Private Limited and Viji Bioscience Private Limited, signaling a broader footprint in the company’s governance ecosystem.

In a parallel development, the Board also approved the re-appointment of Sakshi Chourasiya as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a second five-year term from 25 October 2026 to 24 October 2031, again pending shareholder consent at the AGM. Chourasiya, who holds a Bachelor of Technology and is 34 years old, brings more than a decade of experience in education and operations, with a focus on academic administration, process optimization, and organizational coordination. She currently has no other listed directorships beyond her appointment at Viji Finance, assuring an independent governance perspective.

Together, these moves reflect Viji Finance’s governance strategy that blends youthful executive leadership with established independent oversight. The company emphasizes continuity and governance strength as it charts the next phase of growth, balancing the energy of a new executive with the steadiness of an experienced non-executive director.
