Life Insurance Corporation of India has elevated four of its seasoned executives to Senior Management Personnel, signaling LIC’s commitment to a strong leadership bench across its central office and zonal network. In a notice dated April 20, 2026, the insurer disclosed the appointments of four internal leaders to SMP roles that span liaison, estates, digital marketing and zonal training.
Shyama Sikdar will serve as Additional Executive Director (Liaison) at the Central Office in Delhi, moving up from Regional Manager (Personnel & Industrial Relations), Central Zone, Bhopal. A commerce post-graduate from Delhi University and Licentiate from the Insurance Institute of India, Sikdar has spent about 33 years with LIC and has held leadership roles across the Eastern, North Central, Northern and Central zones, including stints in personnel, office services, information technology, and corporate communications.
Roselata Kerketta takes on the role of Additional Executive Director (Estates) at the Central Office, Mumbai, after serving as Regional Manager (Personnel & Industrial Relations), Northern Zone, Delhi. She joined LIC as an Assistant Administrative Officer and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours). Her career has spanned branch, divisional and zonal offices, with pivotal leadership as Regional Manager (New Business & Actuarial) and CRM/Policy Servicing before this elevation.
Deepa Sivadasan becomes Additional Executive Director (Digital Marketing) at the Central Office, Mumbai, rising from Regional Manager (Pension & Group Schemes), South Zone, Chennai. A LIC veteran of about 34 years, she joined in 1992 as an Assistant Administrative Officer and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering. She has also completed a one-year Post Graduate Executive Programme from IIM, Ahmedabad, and is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India, with extensive experience across administration, marketing, information technology and customer relationship management.
Manoj Kumar Panda takes on the post of Director, Zonal Training Centre, Jamshedpur, after serving as Regional Manager (Marketing), East Central Zone, Patna. A science graduate with a post-graduate in Business Administration, Panda has spent more than three decades in LIC, holding leadership roles in Branch, Divisional and Zonal offices and, most recently, as a Regional Manager (Marketing) in the East Central Zone.
