ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited, part of the ZF Group, announced on September 15, 2026 that Ponraj Pandian, Senior General Manager – Sourcing and Purchasing, has tendered his resignation due to personal reasons. The company has accepted the resignation and Pandian will be relieved from duties at the close of business on 15 September 2026.
Pandian’s remit covers sourcing and purchasing for the unit, a function central to the performance of ZF CVCS India’s supply chain in the competitive commercial vehicle technologies space.
With no immediate replacement disclosed, the move signals a leadership transition in a critical operational area. The company is expected to implement continuity plans and evaluate internal succession or external search options to ensure stable procurement, vendor relationships, and uninterrupted operations.
The departure underlines the human side of leadership in India’s manufacturing and engineering ecosystem, where even high-impact roles must adapt to personal decisions, while multinational companies like ZF press ahead with growth, innovation, and global supply-chain resilience.
