ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited has announced the appointment of Rakesh Mishra as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2026. The move signals a sharpening of financial leadership at the Chennai-based arm of ZF Group as it continues to strengthen its governance and execution capability.
Mishra is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in global technology and engineering companies. He has served as a NASSCOM Regional Council Member (2023–24) and has led greenfield projects, restructuring initiatives, and ERP implementations. His credentials include a Bachelor of Commerce from Utkal University, a Certificate Program in Executive Leadership from Cornell University, and leadership programs on AI and executive presence from the Indian School of Business.
This appointment comes as ZF Group reiterates its commitment to robust financial stewardship within its Indian operations, formerly known as WABCO India. The new CFO brings cross-functional finance leadership and strategic perspective at a time when the company is positioning itself to grow its footprint in the Commercial Vehicle controls space in India.
