Yuken India elevates Yoshitake Tanaka to Whole-time Director

In a move signaling deeper operational leadership, Yuken India Limited said its Board has approved a change in designation for Yoshitake Tanaka from Non-Executive Director to Whole-time Director for a four-year term, effective from October 1, 2026, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming General Meeting. The decision underscores the company’s intent to place a more hands-on governance and execution role in Tanaka’s leadership as it pursues its growth and integration plans.

Tanaka, a Business Administration graduate from Senshu University, Japan, brings a broad portfolio spanning supply chain management, procurement, production control, corporate governance, and cross-functional operations. He has been on Yuken India’s Board since August 2022 as a Non-Executive Director, after previously serving as a Whole-time Director from September 14, 2022, to September 19, 2024. His continued presence on the board since then has helped maintain a steady strategic axis as the company expands its footprint.

The four-year term for the executive designation signals confidence in Tanaka’s ability to drive operational excellence and strengthen group synergies across its international operations. With a leadership profile rooted in cross-border governance and process optimization, the move aligns governance with the company’s ambition to scale its oil hydraulic equipment manufacturing in collaboration with its Japanese affiliate roots. Shareholders will consider the proposal at the forthcoming General Meeting, after which Tanaka could assume the duties of Whole-time Director for the term ahead.
