Williamson Magor & Co. Limited has announced the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors to its board, effective 22 July 2026. The additions, Arup Pal and Subhajit Majumdar, come as the group continues to bolster its governance framework with experienced hands at the table.
Arup Pal, aged about 32, brings more than eight years of experience across accounts and procurement, with prior stints at Assam Company India Ltd. and Travelaids India. Subhajit Majumdar, about 47, has over two decades in accounts and the commercial function, with a track record at McLeod Russel India Ltd. Both individuals have been appointed as Additional Directors (Non-Executive & Non-Independent) and are not debarred from holding directorships by SEBI or any other authority.
The appointment signals Williamson Magor’s intent to blend youthful energy with deep financial and commercial know-how on its board, complementing existing leadership as the company navigates competitive markets. As the two directors come aboard in a non-executive capacity, their insights in accounts, procurement, and commercial strategy are expected to inform governance and strategic deliberations without altering the executive leadership lineup.
With this board refresh, Williamson Magor reinforces its commitment to governance excellence as it charts its next phase of growth.
