Waaree Energies Limited has appointed Mona Bhide as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for a first term of five years, from August 30, 2026 to August 29, 2031, subject to shareholders’ approval. The move strengthens the company’s governance framework as it expands its leadership bench.
Concurrently, Waaree announced the completion of Richa Goyal’s first term as an Independent Director, with her tenure ceasing at the close of business on August 29, 2026. The board and management expressed appreciation for her contributions.
Mona Bhide is a veteran legal practitioner who has been in the field since 1989 and currently serves as the Managing Partner of Dave & Girish & Co. Advocates. She holds an LLB from the University of Mumbai and an LLM from Northwestern University, School of Law, Chicago. She also sits on the boards of PCS Technology Limited, Vinati Organics Limited, Datamatics Global Services Limited, and Inspira Enterprise India Limited, and is not related to any of the company’s directors or key managerial personnel.
