Members approved the appointment of Pandanda Kariappa Madappa as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a five-year term from May 23, 2026 to May 22, 2031, and the re-appointment of Priya Shankar Dasgupta for a second five-year term from November 21, 2026 to November 20, 2031. The moves reinforce governance and independent oversight at a time when the company navigates its engineering and infrastructure portfolio.
Pandanda Kariappa Madappa brings a blend of commercial acumen and strategic leadership. He holds a B.Com from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, is a Chartered Accountant, and has an MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. He is presently the Managing Director of Macmet Engineering Limited, a prominent supplier in pipe and cross-country conveyor systems, and has been involved in promoter roles across related ventures, including ETA Aerospace Pvt. Ltd.
Priya Shankar Dasgupta is a veteran corporate lawyer who earned an LLB from Delhi University, a BA in Economics (Honors), and a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate and Labour Law from the Indian Law Institute. With a career spanning decades in corporate law, he spent a long period with J.B. Dadachanji & Co. before founding New Delhi Law Offices, which later evolved into Asia Law Offices. He has advised on strategic investments, joint ventures and foreign collaborations, as well as mergers, acquisitions and capital-market matters, enriching Vindhya Telelinks’ board with deep governance and transactional insight.
