The board has approved Dinesh Malpani as President Operations and Senior Management Personnel, and Manu Agarwal as President Buying & Merchandising and Senior Management Personnel, signaling a focused push to strengthen core functions as the retailer scales its omnichannel footprint.
Manu Agarwal brings about 25 years of experience in buying, merchandising, sourcing, product development and vendor management. He will oversee the company’s buying and merchandising functions, including assortment planning, pricing and inventory optimization, with the aim of strengthening the merchandise proposition and customer value as the business grows. Agarwal was most recently associated with Aarkey Retail Private Limited prior to this appointment.
Dinesh Malpani is described as a seasoned retail and omnichannel professional with roughly three decades in the sector. His leadership track record includes CEO roles at Jubilant Retail and Sabka Bazaar, along with senior positions at Hiranandani Retail, Mahindra Retail, V2 Retail and UrDoorStep.com. In his role as President Operations, Malpani will drive operational execution across the company’s store network and digital platforms, anchoring the company’s growth strategy.
Together, these moves place both leaders in the company’s senior management cadre, underscoring V2 Retail’s emphasis on operational excellence and merchandising discipline as it advances its expansion agenda.
