Unitech Limited has tapped a seasoned government administrator to steer its next chapter. Giridhar Aramane has been appointed as Chairman and Managing Director, effective 25 August 2026, for a two-year term from the date of joining. The move follows a Supreme Court-approved shift in the company’s leadership, intended to bring an independent governance orientation to the business as it navigates a challenging period. Aramane succeeds Yudhvir Singh Malik, whose tenure closed at the end of July 2026, marking a clear transition in the company’s executive leadership.
