UltraTech Cement has named Ashish Chandra as Chief Manufacturing Officer (Designate) with effect from 16 September 2026, a move the company frames as part of a planned leadership transition. He will be designated as a Senior Management Personnel from that date, and is slated to assume the Chief Manufacturing Officer role on 1 April 2027. In the interim, the current CMO, E R Raj Narayanan, will relinquish the position on 31 March 2027 after overseeing a structured handover. The board also recorded its sincere gratitude for Narayanan’s service to UltraTech Cement and the Aditya Birla Group.
