Transindia Real Estate Limited is nudging a notable leadership change as it wires through a strategic reshuffle. The board disclosed that Jatin J Chokshi will retire from the position of Managing Director at the close of business on December 31, 2026, and will transition to a new role within the Allcargo Group starting January 1, 2027. The move comes as the company continues to consolidate its expanded portfolio and align leadership with its growing ecosystem.
In a separate but linked development, the board, on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, approved the appointment of Ravi Jakhar as an Additional Director in the category of Executive Director – Strategy with effect from November 4, 2026. The plan is for Jakhar to take over as Managing Director for a three-year period from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2029, subject to shareholder approval. Jakhar’s profile, as outlined by the company, positions him to steer group-wide strategy and finance, with oversight of global operations across the Allcargo Group. He brings over two decades of leadership experience, including a background that spans technology ventures and strategic restructuring; he holds a B.Tech from IIT (various IITs) and has studied entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School.
Jakhar’s appointment follows Transindia Real Estate’s ongoing expansion, including a notable series of acquisitions and a framework to integrate the group’s subsidiaries under a unified leadership structure. The leadership shift aims to sharpen execution on strategic initiatives, including investment in assets and the consolidation of operations across logistics parks, commercial properties, and related ventures. As the company charts its near-term roadmap, the transition signals a continuity of leadership with a strong emphasis on strategy, growth, and long-term value creation.
Overall, the changes reflect Transindia Real Estate’s intent to blend seasoned strategic leadership with a stable continuity in management, as it navigates a period of rapid growth and integration across its expanding asset base and subsidiary network.
