Rossell India Limited signaled leadership continuity at its 32nd Annual General Meeting, held on 25 August 2026, with a slate of executive moves. The Members approved the re-appointment of Harsh Mohan Gupta as Managing Director, designated as Executive Chairman and Managing Director, for a further three-year term from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2030.
Gupta has steered the group for decades, having served as Executive Chairman since 1 February 2001 and guiding the company through a period of sustained growth. The disclosures note that he is not related to Ms. Samara Gupta, who is his daughter, underscoring a continuity-driven leadership dynamic within the company’s executive cadre.
Also approved is the re-appointment of Ms. Samara Gupta as Whole-Time Director for about three years, from 9 February 2027 to 31 January 2030, reinforcing governance with an interior member of the leadership team. In addition, Mr. Digant Mahesh Parikh was appointed as a Director and as Whole-Time Director, effective 26 August 2026, for about three years through 31 July 2030. Parikh currently serves as Senior Vice-President (Finance) and brings financial stewardship to the board.
The AGM also formalized a change in the company’s rotational slate with the retirement of Nirmal Kumar Khurana, who ceased to hold the office of Whole-Time Director upon the AGM’s conclusion, having attained the company’s retirement threshold. The leadership refresh underscores Rossell India’s focus on continuity, strategic finance, and governance as it navigates its next growth phase.
