RBZ Jewellers Limited has announced the re-appointment of Rajiv Nitin Mehta as an Independent Director (Non-Executive) for a second five-year term, effective from 30 June 2027 to 29 June 2032. The appointment, initially considered by the Board on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, was approved by shareholders at the company’s 18th Annual General Meeting held on 10 September 2026 via video conference. The move signals RBZ Jewellers’ continued emphasis on governance and external oversight as it plans its next phase of growth.
Rajiv Nitin Mehta brings more than two decades of leadership across consumer brands, retail, venture capital and corporate governance. He holds a master’s in chemical engineering and an MBA from INSEAD, and has steered high-profile consumer brands through pivotal transitions. His past roles include managing director for Puma South Asia, where he scaled the footprint to over 320 stores, and chief executive positions at Arvind Sports Ltd and Arvind Fashion Brands Ltd, where he helped launch premium brands in collaboration with iconic names. As CEO of Stove Kraft Ltd, he led a successful turnaround and the company’s IPO in 2021. Today he remains active as an angel investor with the Indian Angel Network and serves on the boards of several ventures and advisory entities.

His appointment adds a seasoned, externally oriented perspective to the board, reinforcing the company’s commitment to independent oversight and strategic resilience. With shareholders backing the re-appointment, RBZ Jewellers will benefit from continuity at the board level as it continues to execute its long-term plans.
