Rana Sugars Limited has named Sukhwant Singh as Vice President (Operations), Senior Management Personnel, with effect from April 10, 2026, following the board’s approval a day earlier. Singh brings more than 35 years of mechanical engineering expertise to the role, built over a long career in the sugar industry. He is currently Unit Head at Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Ltd., Pratappur, Uttar Pradesh. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering along with NSI (SECC) certification, and has led large-scale sugar plants and co-generation facilities, advancing through roles such as Senior General Manager, General Manager, and Engineering Head.
With a track record of steering complex operations and engineering management, Singh’s appointment is expected to bolster Rana Sugars’ plant operations, maintenance, and efficiency initiatives. The leadership shift underscores the company’s emphasis on hands-on operational excellence to support growth and sustained performance across its facilities.
