PTC India Financial Services Extends MD&CEO Addl. Charge and Company Secretary Tenure; Nodal Officer Named for Monetization Push

PTC India Financial Services Limited has renewed leadership continuity by extending the tenure of Rajiv Malhotra as MD&CEO (Addl. Charge) for a further year, from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027, on the same terms and conditions and subject to shareholder approval. The board approved this extension at its meeting on 12 October 2026, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Malhotra has been serving as MD&CEO (Addl. Charge) since 1 July 2026, with the initial term ending on 30 November 2026.

Separately, the board extended the tenure of Manohar Balwani as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer for one year—from 6 November 2026 to 5 November 2027. Balwani joined as Company Secretary Designate on 6 November 2024 and assumed charge on 1 December 2024, bringing decades of governance and risk management experience to the post.

In a related note, the company highlighted a move by its holding company, PTC India Limited, to explore monetization of its stake in PTC India Financial Services. Govinda Garg, AVP-CS, or other officers nominated by the MD&CEO Addl. Charge, were appointed as Nodal Officer to coordinate information/documents and liaise with the holding company and its advisors. The company cautioned that the authorization does not constitute final approval or a divestment.

Taken together, the announcements signal a disciplined approach to leadership stability as PTC Financial Services charts a path through strategic options while sustaining governance with experienced executives at the helm.
