Premier Polyfilm Limited signalled leadership stability with two executive moves disclosed around its annual meeting. The company said that Ram Babu Verma will serve as Executive Director for a 12-month term starting December 27, 2026, subject to the approval of shareholders at the Thirty-Fourth Annual General Meeting.
Verma, aged 63, brings a long track record to the role. He holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master’s in Economics, and an MSW in HR & IR, with more than 37 years of executive experience. He was re-appointed as Executive Director by members on September 24, 2025 for a year, and the Board, citing governance considerations, approved a further 12-month term from December 27, 2026 to December 26, 2027, subject to shareholder consent.
Simultaneously, Premier Polyfilm approved revisions to the perquisites and other amenities payable to Mayank Goenka, also an Executive Director, effective May 9, 2026. The updated package includes: House Rent Allowance at 40% of basic salary per month; a free chauffeur-driven conveyance for official use; reimbursement of actual medical expenses for self, family and parents; Leave Travel Assistance for self, spouse and unmarried children once in two years; and customary leave, gratuity, and telephone allowances, along with other board-approved benefits subject to tax and statutory provisions. Mayank Goenka, 28, is a Glasgow-educated engineer and a son of Amitaabh Goenka, the company’s Managing Director and CEO.
Taken together, the moves underscore Premier Polyfilm’s focus on a steady leadership platform as it pursues its manufacturing footprint in vinyl flooring, PVC sheeting, geomembranes and artificial leather.
